Instructions

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

it is important to follow your Veterinarian's prescription instruction for your pet.

Sucralfate tablets should never be administered without first consulting your veterinarian.
The typical dose administered to animals is 1/4 to 1 gram per pet.

Small dogs and cats often receive 1/4 to 1/2 gram every six to eight hours.

Medium to large dogs often receive 1/2 to 1 gram every six to eight hours.

Horses: use as directed by your Veterinarian

Sucralfate tablets are best used when given on an empty stomach one hour before or two hours after a meal.
Sucralfate tablets are readily dissolved in water.
Oral dosing can also be performed by dissolving the tablet in a syringe with water and mixing well.
The duration of administration depends on the condition being treated, response to the medication and the development of any adverse effects.
Complete the entire prescription unless specifically directed by your veterinarian. Even if your pet feels better, the entire treatment plan should be completed to prevent relapse or prevent the development of resistance.
