Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Why do I need to vaccinate my 9 week old puppy three times?

Puppies need multiple vaccinations that are age appropriate to be properly vaccinated and prevent vaccine failure from maternal antibody interference. Be sure your 9-week old puppy receives a vaccination every 2-3 weeks until they are 16 weeks of age.

2. Do I need to vaccinate my dog annually?

Yes. All Solo-Jec & Duramune Max vaccines are all USDA-labeled and recommended for annual vaccination.

Precautions:

Do not vaccinate pregnant animals.

Do not use in ferrets or mink.
Protective immunity may not be completely established in all puppies vaccinated at less than 16 weeks of age because of maternal antibody interference.
Only vaccinate healthy animals.
Animals incubating any disease or stressed due to shipping, malnutrition, or parasitism may not achieve or maintain an adequate immune response.
Burn containers and unused contents.
Although rare, severe allergic reactions anaphylactoid may occur that require immediate veterinary care.

Antidote: Epinephrine
