Esbilac is a complete diet for puppies fortified with vitamins and minerals. Esbilac's life saving formula closely matches dogs's milk in protein and energy and has set the standard in canine neonatal nutrition for over 70 years. Powder formula is easy to mix with water.

Instructions
Directions for Liquid Feeding:
Esbilac: All puppies should receive their mother's milk for at least 2 days, if possible. The colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases.
Warm Esbilac to room or body temperature.
Feed puppies 2 tablespoons 30 mL per 4 ounces 115 g of body weight daily.
Divide the daily feeding amount into equal portions for each feeding.
Small and/or weak puppies should be fed every 3 to 4 hours.
Larger and/or older puppies can do well being fed every 8 hours.
The amount required should be increased or decreased to meet the individual requirements for each puppy.
The PetAg 4 oz. Nurser is suited for feeding most puppies. When puppies are old enough to lap, begin offering Esbilac in a shallow container.
During the 6th week mix Esbilac with Esbilac 2nd Step Weaning Food to allow the puppy to gradually switch to solid food.
Pregnant and Lactating Bitches, Growing Puppies post weaning, Show Dogs and/or Convalescing Dogs:
Feed 2 tablespoons 30 mL Esbilac per 5 lbs. 2.2 kg body weight daily.

Directions for Mixing Esbilac Powder:
Gently stir or shake 1 part powdered Esbilac into 2 parts warm water a part may be a teaspoon, tablespoon or cup.
Do not mix more Esbilac than can be consumed in 24 hours.
Do not use a blender. Reconstituted Esbilac should be kept refrigerated.
One 12 oz 340g can of powder makes approximately 60 oz 1800ml of liquid mixed 1:2.
One 28 oz 794g can of powder makes approximately 140 oz 4140ml of liquid mixed 1:2.
