Side effects are not common however, if using the drops there may be some transient stinging. When the ointment is used, there may be some transient blurring of vision

Use As Directed By Veterinarian.

Apply the ointment carefully, ensuring that the tip of the tube does not touch the eye.  This prevents re infection or transferring infection from one eye to another or one pet to another.
