Precautions:

This product is not FDA approved for use in animals but is prescribed by Veterinarians
Do not use the medication in dehydrated animals as well as in those suffering from inner organ complications.
Prolonged use of medication can cause damage to kidney in certain animals.
Tobramycin has a tendency to react with certain combination of medications.&nbsp
It is important to strictly follow the prescribed dosage, as medication overdose can paralyze the animal

Possible Side Effects:

Side effects are rare with Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution, however, if your pet appears to be disturbed by burning or stinging, or if inflammation appears to worsen, discontinue right away and contact your vet. The most frequent adverse reactions to Tobramycin are hypersensitivity and localized ocular toxicity, including lid itching and swelling, and conjunctival erythema.

Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution should not be used in conjunction with any other topical antibiotic solution or ointment unless otherwise dictated by your veterinarian.
Drugs falling under this category are ototoxic to animals that can impair hearing or cause loss of balance in animals.
The medication can cause the usual reddening and irritation in animals.
Kidney dysfunction is another side effect seen in certain animals using the medication for a prolonged period.
Side effects that may go away during treatment include burning or stinging. If they continue or are bothersome to your pet, check with your veterinarian.


CHECK WITH YOUR VETERINARIAN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if your pet experiences redness, itching, or swelling of the eyelids.

If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your veterinarian or pharmacist.

Instructions

It is important to follow your Veterinarian's prescription instructions for your pet.

Dose and Administration:

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your veterinarian
First, wash your hands. 
Remove excess medicine around the eye with a clean tissue, being careful not to touch the eye. 
Wash your hands to remove any medicine that may be on them. 
TO PREVENT GERMS from entering your medicine, do not touch the applicator tip to any surface including the eye. 
STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. 
Keep the container tightly closed. 
TO CLEAR UP THE INFECTION COMPLETELY, continue using this medicine for the full course of treatment even if your pet seems to feel better in a few days. 
It is important to not miss any doses. IF YOU MISS GIVING A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, give it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your pet's regular dosing schedule.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient:

Tobramycin 3 mg 0.3%.

Inactive Ingredients:

Boric Acid, Sodium Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Tyloxapol and Purified Water. Sodium Hydroxide and/or Sulfuric Acid may be added to adjust pH 7.0 - 8.0.

Preservative added:

Benzalkonium Chloride 0.1 mg 0.01%.
